Innovation and R&D

At Pentascape, Research & Development (R&D) is at the heart of everything we do. Our passion is for designing and building new and innovative solutions to all sorts of problems, often bringing new software to market with the help of innovation funding.

We help you clearly demonstrate the problem you want to provide a solution for, backing it up with user research and statistics, and providing points from which we can measure the benefits you can deliver to your users.

User research, focus groups, requirements workshops and process flows are then implemented to gather all of your users’ needs and work out the best way to meet them. Once these needs are understood, we design the technology to deliver it and provide you with a clear roadmap and ranged cost estimates ready for production.

Our Idea-to-Market projects take all of this information about your potential user group and their requirements and turn it into a clear and concise document ready for presentation to your stakeholders or for use when pitching for funding.

Rapid Prototyping

The “win quick, fail fast” approach isn’t new, it’s a proven way to get a product to market quickly and test the water. We don’t believe in spending months or even years developing a product at great cost, only to find out once launched that it doesn’t work, doesn’t meet the needs of users, or that you’ve been beaten to it by a competitor.

By rapidly prototyping a product and getting it to market, you know quickly if the product is going to be viable and worth further investment. We then use our Continuous Improvement processes to iteratively update, upgrade and develop the product – all while it’s in active use by your new users, allowing you to grow your business at the same time.

As we develop our own products and services, we are very familiar with the process of finding, applying for and obtaining funding. We use our experience and connections to help you get the funding you need for your tech innovation projects.

When we first approached Pentascape we immediately encountered a very different attitude – one of excitement in our ideas and a genuine hope to make sure that MCO could be all we wanted it to be and maybe add something to it as well. We don’t think of Pentascape as a supplier anymore; we think of them as a partner. For any company that’s a huge bonus but especially for a startup like ours.
